As we bring 2019 to a close, I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude to each of you and reflect on all of the great work that we’ve accomplished as a team. It’s hard to believe that we are almost 10 years old! Our training wheels are off, we are no longer toddlers, but I hope to always preserve our small company, startup culture. It’s been an amazing year! We have experienced another year of growth with the expansion in the government division. We have also established a new partnership with a brand-new startup company that we are excited about. We continue to build upon our core capabilities as a professional engineering consulting firm. What I’m most proud of is the growth we have experienced Within the team PVM. As we approach our 10th year, our average PVM’er tenure remains over 5+ years. This is simply incredible. What this has enabled us to do as company is promote from within as opportunities arise. We have strived mightily to reach this point. It is CRITICALLY important to me that as PVM grows, each PVM’er grows. I’m proud that our latest cohort of leader started as PVM smurfs. As I have shared before, I am committed to not being the BIGGEST engineering consulting firm, but simply the BEST engineering consulting firm. Another indicator of our success as a team is customer retention, I’m proud to say that across both divisions we have had 100% retention for the last 3 years. If we open that aperture up to 5 years, the ONLY customer loss we have experienced is when with have been significantly underbid. We have NEVER failed to retain a customer due to quality. This is a tremendous achievement and one that I hope that you are as proud of as I am.
I’ll close as I began, THANK YOU! We are a great company of people that care about one another, care about the work we do, and care about the organizations we support. I’ll ask that you not lose sight of those simple truths or take them for granted. There is tremendous power in those truths. I’m proud of each of your and proud of this family.
Expect the best!
