Deployed Solutions Engineer (DSE) for Palantir Support (Washington, DC location)
Mandatory Requirements
- Palantir-certified developer with advanced experience (at least 3 years) in Palantir Gotham integrations, helper development, ontology customization, system maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Experience modeling, integrating, and testing data sets for Palantir Phoenix (at least 2 integrations)
- Advanced Linux skills (to include scripting, server configuration, and security configuration)
- Proficient in using Subversion
- Experience with data discovery, modeling, integration, and testing of cross- correlated sets in scale of billions of records
- Proficient front-end user of Palantir
- Able to generate workflows, documentation, and training (intro and advanced) in Palantir geared towards specific use cases for Palantir end-users
- Active or recent TS with SCI eligibility
Desired Skills and Experience
- Minimum 6 years of experience as a Senior Developer
- Able to multi-task and adhere to timelines developed for tasks
- Red Hat Certified Engineed (RHCE)
- Employ strong knowledge of security concepts and practices to proactively identify threats, vulnerabilities and exploits
Roles and Responsibilities
- Integrate new data sources into Palantir Gotham and Phoenix
Create customized analytical tools within the Palantir user interface, to include Gotham and Phoenix (such as visualizations, helpers, plugins, and exports) based on provided requirements
- Participate in all phases of the development life cycle: data discover, modeling, scripting, testing, deployment, and upkeep
- Provide oversight and monitoring of software and hardware health and status via system stability feeds and troubleshoot issues that are detected
- Develop, test, and implement new system stability checks
- Perform system and application maintenance tasks
- Provide reach back capability to Palantir for direct interaction to their support teams, developers and executive management
- Customize the ontology as needed to support the modeling of objects, properties, events, and relationships
- Collaborate with colleagues to implement sustainable solutions
- Participate in regularly-scheduled team meetings
- Generate workflows in Palantir geared towards specific use cases
- Create and provide Palantir training to end users (written documentation, classroom training, desk side training)
- Stay current with Palantir engineering, development and functionality
- Improve the efficiency of effectiveness of site capabilities used to analyze and report the results
- Assist with COOP activities that may require the relocation of the current infrastructure
